On Saturday, October 28, the evaluation meeting “Each end is a New Beginning” was held, as one of the latter activity of the program. During this meeting mentees and mentors talked about the most important moments which had the most impact on them. This was a good opportunity for them to take a look on what they did, and what they will do in the future.

In the scope of the third workshop on the topic: Public Speaking - Me in the Eyes of Others, mentors and mentees from the "Share Your Knowledge" program taught about communications and public appearances. The workshop organized on Saturday, September 30, 2017, in the UK Parobrod, was led by Marija Stevuljević, Social Media Advisor in the EU Info Center in Belgrade, and Miloš Đajić, an Associate at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and the President of the Center for Modern Skills.

OPEN CALL FOR MENTEES FOR EIGHTH GENERATION OF THE PROGRAM ,,SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE ”

The Program ,,Share your knowledge” is a professional and personal empowerment of young women in our society, through the sharing of knowledge and experience. It is based on the concept of mentoring, and it is aimed in building up mutual support between women, mainly by sharing knowledge, experiences, promoting good role models, networking and women empowerment.

The main idea on which this program is based is that successful and professional women, leader for different professions share their knowledge and experiences with young women with similar interests in order to make new opportunities for young women to develop their careers paths, with the goal of achieving positive progress and building up healthy base for next long-term cooperation.

NEW GENERATION OF THE SCHOOL OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION ON A STUDY VISIT TO BELGRADE

The fourth generation of the School of European Integration (SEI) from Kosovska Mitrovica was Belgrade on 14th and 15th September with the aim of visiting institutions that play a significant role in the process of EU accession of the Republic of Serbia, including the Office for Kosovo and Metohija of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the European Integrations Committee in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, the EU Delegation to the Republic of Serbia and the newly formed Ministry for European Integration.

Dragana Tomić Pilipović, the Executive Director at the Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility(CCSR) showed our mentors at the programme Share your knowledge “how she makes it work“, on Saturday, August 26th, within the framework of the study visit to Vrmdža. In Rural HUB, founded by Dragana, we had the oportunity to learn about how she started dealing with the development of organizations, strategic management of human resources, as well as the impediments she encountered during her professional life.

TRAINING FOR MEDIA ON ECONOMIC ASPECTS OF EU ACCESSION OF SERBIA

The European Movement in Serbia is organizing training for representatives of media titled "Economic Aspects of Serbia's Accession to the European Union". The training is intended for editors and journalists of redactions and it will present and explain the most important economic aspects of the process of Serbia's accession to the European Union.

EU2ME CALL FOR PROJECT PROPOSALS

In order to expand the impact of the project Europe to Me, European Movement in Serbia opens a Call for Proposals for CSOs, media, universities, and libraries from Serbia. Interested organizations should contribute to implementation of the Project through innovative information campaigns on local and regional level about the EU and impact and benefits of the EU accession process for the citizens of Serbia.

WORKSHOP ENDING THE FIRST SEMESTER OF THE SCHOOL OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION 2017

Today begins a two-day workshop for participants of the fourth generation of the School of European Integration (SEI) entitled "Instruments of EU Assistance and Project Preparation for EU Funds." The workshop is performed by Ivan Knežević, Jelena Ribać and Aleksandar Bogdanović from the European Movement in Serbia, who will help SEI participants in gaining new knowledge and practical skills in the field of project proposal writing.

THE REGION DID NOT LOOSE ITS EU FUTURE, ALTHOUGH THE EU IS IN THE CRISIS

Regional seminar entitled EU and Western Balkans: The Common Future for fourth generation of the School of European Integration was held last week in North Mitrovica. The aim of the Seminar was an exchange of experiences, good practices and better understanding of the European Integration process. Topics considering challenges and future of the EU were processed in the light of bureaucracy, populism, and the crisis of democracy, as well as regional cooperation in the Western Balkans. The concrete changes that the European integration process provide to the citizens, were also discussed.
